Ratings and reviews

Useless. Does not stop voicemails from blocked numbers even though it claims to do so, and I have used the "advanced"settings and picked the option whereby the caller is supposed to be cut off WITHOUT leaving a message. This can be very disturbing and distressing, and to me defeats the whole object of blocking a number. I am at present using a free trial of this app and shall not be taking out a subscription when it ends.

I've been using Call Control for a while now, and it's honestly been a game-changer for me. Before, I was constantly dealing with annoying robocalls and telemarketers, and it felt like I couldn't get a break. Since I installed the app, it's taken care of most of those calls automatically, which has been a huge relief. I love that it updates its spam list regularly, so I don't have to worry about the latest scams getting through.

This app effectively singles out 'Potential' threats, (SPAM, Scam, etc.), and apparently sends selected numbers to a global database that is used to alert ALL users of potential threats in real time. Pretty cool, really. It allows the user to instantly block calls while they are 'ringing' or after the call, leaving a popup on the screen to select this. I think we all wish there was a way, without going into DND mode, to ensure that blocked numbers NEVER ring.
