Fantastic app. Works exactly as I expected and hoped with good tools for recording distance, vertical height, lifts, speed and duration. I also want to give my strongest possible recommendation for the team's customer service. I had an issue with importing data from another app and they personally took a look and were able to upload files on their end to fix it. Genuinely 10/10 support across the whole team!

Overall a great app, but I have 1 major problem. I can't remember if this changed, but I've now missed logging a few days because when I click record, I've not noticed the secondary popup asking what I want to record. It's always been about skiing so I don't know why this is asked, but at the end of the day I've gone to stop the logging only to realise it's still on that first popup and hasn't logged anything. Very frustrating feature, I'd love to be able to set a default and skip that step

It's nice to see you're run history on the map, it tracking your ski lift routes, your skiing, and your rest time. However Slopes' desire for a £30/year or £10/week subscription for me to see my stats for each run is insane when the stats it's already telling me are that I somehow got up to over 100mph! (while it has been given full system permissions & battery optimisation turned off) When skiing as a group, having each others locations and high scores to compare is great though & worth having

- Big recording engine upgrades that take Slopes beyond lifts & runs: (1) live ascent stats when you start in uphill/skinning mode; (2) a new cat ski mode tuned to tell cat rides from skiing for backcountry; (3) in downhill mode, hikes are detected separately from lifts, with live stats and their own totals; (4) fewer "phantom runs" from short uphill segments mid-run; (5) smarter trimming of lift lines and waiting time at the start/end of runs.
