Ratings and reviews

It is a good app, but it's been pretty limited over the years. I just switched to the pro version and I'm not seeing many upgrades. It's basically the same app features, with unlimited transactions and 2 charts, not worth the money. The team could do so much more! Like, more charts based on real-life scenarios, and more for people who use it to track their daily finances without needing to split with anyone. There's a lot they could do to improve it and make it a part of everyone's daily life.

Splitwise is a great example of how far a company will degrade their app for greed. With every iterative update, the free tier gets that much more unusable. I understand that every app needs to make money, so there will always be a push to buy the subscription service. But if you go so far to make the free tier completely unusable, then I'd rather switch to an alternative than give in to your cheap tricks.

Continuously asking for subscribing to its paid version, 999/year. Added some data and contacts, can't add further now. very frustrating experience. Looking for better app now. Extremely poor experience with Splitwise. I Do not recommend it at all. Guys, be aware before installing and adding your expenses here. Half way, it will stop you by doing anything at all until you don't pay 999/year. Uninstalling now. I Do not recommend it at all. A perfect example of how a brand kills itself.
