I think this app is simple and easy to use. But it would be better if we can switch languages between two. For example, when translate between two languages, in Google translate application, there's a reciprocal arrow between them. So, we don't need to change the input language and then change the output language separately. By clicking that reciprocal arrow, two languages can automatically (from input language place to output language place). In this application, I don't see that setting 😔.

Misreads Jpn kanji - e.g., keeps recognising 殻 (shell) as 般 which it then proceeds to translate as "general". Naver's Papago sometimes does the same if the image quality is poor (and Microsoft's photos somehow always come out a lot clearer in the same circumstances), but it also shows you which kanji it recognised the source image as, so you can notice the mistake & retake the photo, whereas Microsoft just shows what it thinks the correct translation is, so you can't really check what's wrong.

This app's conversation function was amazing, especially in school settings with so many languages in one classroom. I have a friend that speak Egyptian Arabic and it translated the context very well while it also translated to Russian and Spanish and Dutch at the same time. Unfortunately the conversation function no longer works. It's writes it all in English. I saw many complaints from educators with no response from Microsoft. It's super disappointing it's not supported anymore.
