the scanner works, but when opening the first ads you see are ones that say it's outdated and need an update,and then take you to the play store to get a different app bar scanner. I've almost done this a few times, thinking about just replacing it with an app that doesn't risk me downloading a security risk because the ads aren't well identified or misleading.

Horrible. Previous version had a button to open directly to the website,etc. That's been replaced with a copy link only option. There's an ad underneath that looks like the open link button. Too many "virus ads". Deleting this app NOW, ASAP AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

this app is propagated by illegal deceptive adverts claiming your existing QR code scanner is out of date and needs to be upgraded. This is a lie and should not be allowed. it's being done because this is an aggressive advert supported product and the adverts are intrusive and aggressive and make the app dangerous to use.
