Okta Verify is a lightweight app that allows you to securely access your apps via 2-step verification, ensuring that you, and only you, can access your app accounts.

While you access your apps, you'll choose a 2-step verification method provided by Okta Verify to finish signing in. You can verify your identity using a push notification sent to your device (if enabled by your organization), a temporary 6-digit code, or biometrics (if enabled by your organization).

We do request permission to use your device camera so that you can scan a QR code when you enroll your device with Okta.

App works fine and sends push notifications when required, BUT will also send random push notifications advertising itself(why??? It's already installed on my phone...). Until you unlock your phone, it looks like someone is trying to access your account. There is also nothing you can change in settings to prevent this without just disabling push notifications entirely, which pretty much defeats the purpose of the app. Please change this or give us a setting to turn it off. Sign in permissions frequently provide a location not even remotely close to where I am signing in from, I would have no way of knowing if someone was trying to access my account at the same time from a different location. All other authentication apps I use are far more secure than Okta

Terrible. This app wouldn't work most of the time. I was constantly getting alerts that the push notification failed to send, if it even gave me an alert. I don't understand why any business would choose to use this.
