Ratings and reviews

I've had this app and browser for a few years and everything worked fine until recently. It now seems that sometimes, when I search for something €mildly* specific, if I go see the image results it won't show a thing, even if in the normal search there was some image results as a preview. In comparison, in Google search everything appears fine. This seems like a browser issue that also happens on my computer, so it's not just the app, but I couldn't find the place to search for it better.

I'm growing more and more disappointed with the amount of AI generated images that show in the image search. It's a known fact that AI is causing resource scarcity in the areas where the companies build data centers. Ecosia should make a difference and block AI images from showing. I'm about to uninstall the browser because of that. I'm an artist, I use lots of images (mainly photos) as reference for drawings and this is infuriating.

I love the concept of Ecosia and have used their desktop browser for years and the mobile browser more recently but unfortunately it just doesn't perform well. It frequently has bugs or glitches that render it unusable so I find I end up using alternative browsers more and more. I don't mind having to scroll a bit further in search results to find what I'm looking for but it's failing to load anything right now so totally unusable.
