Ratings and reviews

Recalculates routes quickly. Has a nice interface. Displays compass direction while navigating. Search could be better. Maps sometimes lack building numbers, even for buildings over 20 years old. The road restriction settings are tricky (and not documented) but you need to play with them to get them right or the routing can be goofy. It works quite well and it is pretty easy to use.

I use Google Maps as my main Sat-Nav however I like to have a backup navigation app for driving in areas without any Internet. This works well for that, but I found myself wanting to use it more. I am happy to pay a 1 off fee for TT Maps and live traffic but will not to subscribe. Please consider this option. I also wish that I could select my own camera sounds or have speech for them. The existing sound is too harsh. I like the navigation in general apart from that. 👍

Use free OpenStreetMap, don't pay for TomTom maps. HD Traffic feature doesn't work properly, many missing incidents (check with free TomTom app). Highly customisable, but the UI needs a huge rework, it's old, not intuitive. No option to report an incident on road.
