I have always been a huge supporter and promoter of this app, because historically it always did what I needed to do, exactly the way I needed it. Amazing features, delayed send, many other things to mention. Sadly over the last 6 months, updates have rendered it so buggy It effectively cannot be used anymore. Even simply choosing pictures is a nightmare, and 90% of the time they just send as blanks. There's delays, missed notifications, missed incoming texts. This app has become a disaster.

Privacy and no ads so far! I'm a victim of Samsung ending messenger+ app. I didn't want to switch to Google because of their ability to share your data to a high level. I made it priority to find an app that does not share data with third parties unless there is a warrant. Downloaded a few to test and all of them had the most obnoxious ads. Textra says it has in app ads, but so far I have not seen a single one. Beautiful customization, too! It's a total upgrade and thanks for not sharing data!

I started using this app years ago and never looked back. I LOVE this message app! I can schedule messages to be sent at a later time. I can delay the sending of messages so I have time to cancel the message. Chats and contacts are very customizable and infinitely color-code-able. The ads on the free version are oh so discreet and unobtrusive. I can send myself a text message in a chat called "Keep" to save things for myself. I want this app to exist for as long as text messaging exists.
