Will not capture a paycheck image. Called for help and they said it was the lighting, to try putting the check on a white piece of paper or try reinstalling the app. Tried the paper, no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. I work in an office with windows and high light, 14 mp camera! New app SUCKS!!! Customer service was short tempered and blamed ME! This is an update to the review I gave a year ago above. They still have not fixed the issues. I have been able to make mobile deposits from my son's phone, but mine still won't allow it. The "tech help" they said were going to contact me did, but they never fixed the issue! There are other reviews about the app not allowing logins, my answer is to check which version you are running (I have run into this on my phone, I can check balances and make transfers, just not deposits). This app DOES NOT tell you updates are available!!!!! Would be awful nice if they would just fix the thing.

Buggy on Samsung Galaxy 8....DO NOT USE YOUR BACK BUTTON...Layers are over lapping....wanted me to sign in to My Alerus....Then tried signing me in for something else...what the hell is ENVESTNET.....garbage...bring back the old app....worked just fine. UPDATE...obviously I downloaded the "new" app. It's a complete mess. When the app opens you are automatically redirected to a different "Alerus" login. Go into that and every layer is overlapping. The "app" itself doesnt open.

Not very simplified. Looks and convenience are 2 different things. Fast Balance is still missing. It still shows instructions on how to activate the option but once logged in the steps needed to turn Fast Balance on are not there. Also I'm still having to back out log in multiple times just to get in to app and check my balances. Updates fix problems but this app hasn't been updated since release which has been about 4 months now. Not a good sign for a banking app.
