Ratings and reviews

I'm really puzzled by why this app hasn't got a higher rating, and also baffled by some of the negative comments left by reviewers. I have worked in high volume cocktail bars in Manhattan since arriving five years ago and constantly try to further my knowledge in spirits, cocktails, techniques, balancing, trends etc. This app is exactly what I was looking for, the brief histories, trivia's, and mini tests are spot on. To whoever designed it, please keep updating as it's the ONLY good bar app

Though the app has some useful tips for people that have absolutely no idea how to bartend, it doesn't really go beyond that. The quizzes are laughably easy, and don't really help you learn anything useful. If you know absolutely nothing about bartending then I would say go for it, but if you have a decent understanding of bartending then I would definitely look else where. Nothing "pro" about this app.

Not a quick reference tool. This is not the app to have if you're behind the bar trying to look up a recipe or a new spin on an old classic. It's slow to wake, always needs an update, and doesn't have common cocktail recipes via the search function. The content featured is neat for cocktail connoisseurs with spare time, but non-funtional while actually working a bar rail or well.
