About this app

DVBFinder is a tool which will help you to set up the satellite dish. It cooperates with a DVBFinder dongle or a satellite receiver with DVBFinder dongle function. It will show you the precise azimuth, the signal strength and quality in real time, which can be used to install the dish.

How to use:

First you should connect the DVBFinder dongle to LNB, or scan the QRcode on receiver which support DVBFinder dongle function.

Then on the phone:
1. Turn on bluetooth and GPS on the phone
2. Open the APP, wait untill the connnect icon changes to 
3. select sat/tp, set up the Antenna LNB/22K/Diseqc
4. Follow the red arrow line to move satellite dish after GPS is available, and make the signal strength and quality to best state.
5. The signal strength will turn to Green once locked
6. Tap the search icon to search current tp and check the programs

Tried to calibrate the dish in order to fine tune the signal according to what the mobile app. was indicating but couldn't... After hiring a technician it turned out to be somewhere within the range that was checked using the app but actually didn't show it. I re tried it after the calibration but still didn't work...

On Android 10 and so we have to allow further permission in gps location settings (Wifi/Bluetooth scan) then we can at least use this app along with Hellobox Smart S2 device. I hope developer further work for Dvbplayer app which uses this device for finding sats and viewing content from them as I still cannot find a way to work with it. (DVBPLAYER & HELLOBOX SMART S2)

Excellent app but not suitable for finding out of coverage satellites.Has delay in showing signal since it's connected to Bluetooth.I still give you 5 stars 🌟 because I can add and delete sat and tp😉.Pls change the connection mode with settopbox from bluetooth to wifi. Wifi communicates faster and has long range signal.
