Consult with your peers on the go
Tap a network of HCPs across the country, courtesy of Epocrates, the #1 medical app trusted by 1 out of 2 US physicians. Invite HCPs to join you in secure conversations.

Add the latest drug information
Annotate your messages with information from athenaText's built-in drug reference, provided by Epocrates.

Keep up with your patients at a glance
athenaText for Apple Watch helps you stay on top of the day's messages. View new notifications and a summary of recent messages on Apple Watch.

Elevate care coordination at your practice
athenaText is also built into athenaOne mobile app as well as athenahealth's desktop services athenaClinicals (EHR) and athenaCoordinator (order transmission & care collaboration). At your clinic or on the go, secure communication is just a tap away.

Does not work. It won't allow me to log in my account. When you click on "Log In" at the bottom right of the screen, a page pops up with 3 options in how to log on: (1) "athenaNet", (2) "Single Sign On" for those with an organization account, and (3) "athenaText" for those who signed up on the mobile app. Since I'm an athenaNet user I tapped on option 1. Loading wheel pops up and quickly disappears, leaving me on the same page. I keep trying and same results. Very disappointing.

Notifications don't work on Android devices. I've un-installed and reinstalled but it still doesn't work. Updates permissions and notification settings but it still doesn't pop up when I have messages. Also crashes and doesn't send messages sometimes.

Awful app. It rarely works correctly. You'll get a notification that you have a message and then it will take hours to show up in your message list. Other times you won't get notifications for messages at all. Can't use emojis or anything else to help convey tone. Mine doesn't automatically capitalize which is a minor yet rather irritating inconvenience. There are other issues too but I feel like what I've stated is more than enough. Quite honestly despise this app.
