I don't love the monetization in the free version; I recommend the devs NOT throttle the energy you can earn before level 10, I almost quit before then. I also don't like quite a few of the translations. You use inconsistent tenses which makes learning the correct conjugation harder (German). I DID buy the game though; its a lot of fun and I wanted the option to create custom cards. Now I wish there were an easier way to copy official conent instead of 1 by 1!

The free version gives you a little bit of room to learn the language with your Nalaas, but you need to pick between the farmland or the adventuring since you only get 40 energy. The free training area is really helpful, though. I've learned a lot of Korean and not just writing, but listening and speaking as I read it with the system. I totally recommend this game and doing the ads.

The free version gives you by default 40 energy which you can use for training Naalas and making your farm town bigger or going on adventure quests and becoming stronger with better equipment; if you use the free adds you get up to 160 additional energy. A "level" is only 10 energy so for me this is really good for a free version, and it explains the language grammar very well, and unlike a certain bird app... I'm learning actually relevant vocabulary and sentences and not "The Ants milk"
