About this app

Central Bank Of India offers Unified Payment Interface (UPI) application for the customers to register with the bank and link their accounts of other banks as well. Customer shall be able to Pay and initiated collect money requests to their beneficiaries. Payment Address is an abstract form to represent and identify the account details, and account details remain confidential. By adding accounts of different banks, customer can manage the account in single application.

The key aspects of the Unified Payments Interface are:

a) The Unified Payments Interface permits payments via mobile app etc.
b) The payments can be both sender (payer) and receiver (payee) initiated.
c) The payments are carried out in a secure manner aligned with the extant RBI guidelines.
d) The payments can be done using Virtual Address, Account Number & Indian Financial System code (IFSC), Mobile Number & MMID (Mobile Money Identifier).
e) The payment uses 1-click 2-factor authentication, Biometric Authentication and use of payer’s smartphone for secure credential capture etc. are other unique features.

What are the requirements for using UPI?
You should have following:
 An smartphone with internet services
 An operative bank account
 The mobile number being registered with UPI, must be linked to the bank account.
 Active debit card relating to selected account for creating mPIN.

worst performing app. Every other day it stops working. It stops even opening, the page just hangs & there is no way even to put pin & log in. Several occasions it happened like that. Right now it's happening continuously for two days!!! Its unreliable app. Its sarkari app. Its foolishness to expect anything from it!!!

1. Often fails 2. Takes much time to open or does not openbat all. whether wifi or mobile data. 3. History transactions are not available. Only the last 5 to 6 trans are seen. In GPay or other payment apps past trns even monthwise are available why not on Centpay. 4. Today is not opening. Tried uninstall and installed without luck.

worst ever app. takes so long to open that i have to open the app when i start a cab ride so that it opens by the time i reach the destination half an hour later. stupidest app that irritates to the core. if there was negative rating i would give a negative 100 to it.kabhi bhi kahi bhi is tagline, which is correct. it doesnt work anywhere anytime
