Tangelo makes it easy to access affordable food prescriptions tailored to improve your health. As soon as you’re approved, we activate your food prescription and you can choose from healthy foods prescribed just for you!

Our prescription process is simple and only takes a few minutes! Answer a few questions about how you eat today, and we measure the nutrient gaps in your diet that impact your health conditions. Then we write a food prescription for the foods you should be eating less of and more of to improve your health!

We work with your health plan to get the cost of your personalized food prescription covered! More and more health plans across the country are covering the cost of prescribed healthy foods for their members. If your health plan doesn’t offer coverage, we offer a self-pay option using a nutrition incentive! And we accept SNAP-EBT!

GET PRESCRIBED FOOD DELIVERED

Once we confirm your coverage, your prescribed food is delivered directly to your doorstep! Every dish you receive is approved for your chronic health conditions by clinical nutrition experts, and we work with you to learn what dishes you like and don’t like to constantly improve the meals you can choose from each week!

Getting what you want is difficult. Customer service lacks live inventory updates. You choose from a 14-item menu based on your dietary survey, but last-minute changes mean you receive unwanted items. They offer replacements or extensions, but you're left with inedible frozen meals. This issue repeats for future orders. Even with no-nut adjustments, you get a nonadjustable menu. Availability claims are inconsistent, leaving you with 28 boxes of food you can't eat. Stuck with 7 of the same meal.

So far this has been an easy process. Just give them the needed information, they do the rest. Wasn't aware I was accepted until today by text. Great way of communicating and I don't have to remember codes etc. So far amazing process. Thankful beyond words.

While most users have had a good experience I've had anything but. While this is a great service and is appreciated, the delivery part has been a nightmare. I've only had 2 successful deliveries with instructions. One delivery was dropped off at some house which still hasn't been determined. The other one the guy couldn't figure out where he was so he never dropped it off. The rest were dropped off without informing me and 2 spoiled. There are other services exactly like this one time to move on
