The app needs work. It's very touchy. I've been able to make it work so far with a combination of closing and opening the app and restarting my phone. When you first try to connect the headlights to the phone, make sure you add your vehicle first. Then make sure you group the lights to control them together from the vehicle menu. The headlights themselves are great. I can't recommend them enough. I had the J2's on my old Wrangler JK and now I have the J3's on my JL.

This app provides functionality for JW speaker headlights and accessory tray lights. The app has very poor connectivity to the Bluetooth lights. It takes several minutes if at all for the lights to be recognized by the application. Even still you may run into trouble. My trail 6 pro lights are stuck because of this application. The application requires a login username and password which is quite annoying considering you would like to access quickly without typing. Extremely disappointed!

Lights are awesome! I had them professionally installed and the app recognized the lights but when trying to activate the remote it would just sit there in "connecting to devices mode" indefinitely. I called a few shops and got a number and got a call back from a rep next day. He asked me to start the Jeep up and turn on the lights and then activate the remote. It worked. He said that the lights and Bluetooth functionality are extremely sensitive to the voltage the lights are getting. That if you had a low battery or low voltage or bad ground you could experience the issue I was having. I'm not sure what changed over the course of 2 days but the app works just fine now, takes about 5 seconds to turn on the remote feature. I also tried using the remote with Jeep turned off but lights on and it worked as well. I don't drive it a lot so battery could have been low yesterday but charged up with driving, who knows.
