Ratings and reviews

Just updated and nothing will happen when I tap things, lesson gets finished and screen freezes, won't let me select anything. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nada. Starting today April 25, 2022 there seems to be a bug (my phone tells me, which is something it's never done) and the app won't open at all. Must've been a recent update or something that doesn't jive with this app and my phone. Samsung galaxy 21

It delivers a pleasing audiovisual experience but fails to be a practical vocabulary training tool, for 2 reasons. 1) Far too many repetitions are required to advance to new material. 2) There is no division between vocabulary and supposedly useful phrases/sentences. The latter are worthless if you use any other sources for your language study, but you have to wade through and ignore them one by one. And I wonder how many unique words are really taught in Drops if you subtract these phrases.

I love this app! It helps me learn dutch words easily. One thing I wish it incorporated more is the word itself, and more on how to spell it. Also, I can match the Dutch word with the pictures all day, and it is helpful, but what would really help is having a part where you match the Dutch word not with the picture but with the word in English. I'm not saying get rid of the stuff you have right now, but it would be nice to add more onto it. :)
