Slow shutter speeds work on redmi note 8. Why can I set 60 sec when phone does not support it? You should provide what the phone supports. My second phone is Samsung s22 ultra with exynos. Live view does not work, screen is black. Batch capture does not work, no progress and app hangs at first image.

The app provides a manual override of the exposure limit because some camera firmware under-report their capability. The override for the limit is inside the Advanced Settings and comes with a warning.

Love the idea of this app and looking forward to future development! Personally I am very interested in being able to do plate solving for images already in my device, like images I've synced from my camera over wifi for example. Is this a feature you plan on adding? :)

I would like to ask. Will it be possible to choose other cameras than Android device integrated one? Like canon connected via OTG cable or WiFi? I must appreciate your efforts and your plan to develop this program. You are really doing great job for all astronomy community in the World. Don't give up please

Cameras connected over WiFi are doable. But cameras over OTG cable are rather difficult, because Android 10+ has removed the permissions to access them as a USB camera. The next thing on my roadmap is to support Raspberry Pi camera over WiFi.

What's new

* New: Show North and South Celestial Poles on the plate solved overlay
* Improvement: Account for precession of equinoxes. This makes the above NCP/SCP overlay possible while also improving the accuracy of polar alignment.
