For use with Livescribe 3 smartpens and the all new Aegir series smartpens.
Livescribe+ is the companion to the Livescribe 3 and the new Aegir series smartpens. It has been designed to quickly make your notes more useful by integrating them with your daily activities:
- Notes, sketches, diagrams and drawings created with your Livescribe smartpens show up instantly on your smartphone or tablet
- Find what you need quickly with incredibly accurate handwriting search
- Convert your handwritten notes to text and use them in any doc or app
- Link your OneNote / Evernote / Google Drive / Dropbox accounts to send your notes automatically
- Record and play back audio that synced to your handwriting
- Flexible sharing options to share your notes in the format you need – PDF, TXT, PNG, DOCX & SVG.
If you use Livescribe+ on more than one device, the built-in memory on your Livescribe smartpens allows you to sync your notes seamlessly across multiple devices. Any Livescribe 3 can be paired with up to four different smartphones or tablets and Aegir can be paired with up to three different smartphones or tablets.

I liked this app. After an update around March, my phone no longer communicates with my LiveScribe pen. I now use my laptop to periodically archive my notebooks. Having real time access to my notes and the ability record audio notes were the reasons I chose LiveScribe over some of the other options. Neither of those features work anymore. I can't recommend LiveScribe at the moment. If you just bought your pen I would recommend returning it and finding a better option.

Update 1/14/19 I can't retrieve my notebook after having to get a new phone. It's weird the original notepad is there but everything else is lost. Additionally, it won't retrieve the PDFs with the audio recordings. The error message says there needs to be a PDF. I really like this app. It does require forethought. Never delete before you've sufficiently backed up. Pencasts need to be uploaded online separately. I have tried playback using the website. Hopefully, it never goes away.

I'm very dissapointed in this pen. It's brand new. It was working perfectly fine until this recent update. Pen has lost connectivity and when I try to pair it I am getting an error referencing permissions needed. I have tried many combinations of permissions settings and the pen cannot connect or pair. The pairing instructions on the website do not work. The desktop application doesn't pair. I was very excited to use this pen. While this pen was working, it was great. I lost all of my notes...
