If you play more than one of my Ancient Games, I suggest you delete the individual apps and install this one. It will allow you to play them all and save disk storage.

The past is full of fascinating board games that haves been mostly forgotten. The Ancient Games collection aims to resurrect them as a meticulously crafted mix between what a player wants from an historical game and what he/she expects of a modern application.

-Play against the IA, friends and random players from around the world.

Currently, the collection is comprised of four games : the Royal Game of Ur, Senet, XII Scripta and Puluc, but 40 games are in the works!
Each game will be added to the Ancient Games app and will have its own individual app as well.

Ratings and reviews

Excellent collection of old games. The only downside is that the menu and unlock system can be a little confusing. The difference between keys and coins and tokens still eludes me. That being said, online play is quite useful - I have some friends who play and this has been lovely when we are apart. However, it is otherwise empty - setting up these games with my friends is the only time I've ever seen other players online.

Has been steadily improving for years! Had the "Royal Game of Ur" installed for years until it was rolled into this one. The interface can be a bit clunky at times (like when changing your board and pieces), but the improvements made over the original version to this point are nicely done. Looking forward to the PVP functionality. I can't get the challenges to progress after completing them, and I keep seeing rewards for progressing in the campaign but I can't figure out how to start it.

Hey developer, I love the addition of Puluc! There's a strange bug, however, when the computer rolls two 5s in a row at the start of the game. Their first piece goes to the middle space and then into my home base. The first time it happened the piece eventually came out when I had captured all of their other pieces. The second time it happened, the piece disappeared completely and I only won once I somehow captured the invisible piece.
