Because yes
Pretty cool thing, especially when the remote is lost (or when a family member has the remote) would give it 5 stars, but you can't turn the haptics off, which gets quite annoying when you're pressing multiple buttons. It works well for a "just if you need it" thing though, so I can't complain much :3

Replacing my 2 star review. I've got 3 Panasonic viera TV's dating from 2013-2017. Whilst I know that Wake on Lan is a feature that is built into the hardware, Panasonic don't build this in to all the models of TV that they make. Because of this the app only works once a TV is actually on, missing the point of a remote. Otherwise it does pretty much what you need from a remote but the UI doesn't make it easy to find some of the things you can do. There's also no way to disable haptic feedback.

Great when it works! Regularly loses the TV and can't easily add it or find it, makes no sense why... not sure if it's the app or the TV causing it. Also would be good to see a few an option to add a button to quickly switch viewing modes rather than having to click the menu and select viewing mode. UPDATE: app now completely unusable.
