The TV remote functions are extremely basic. The main reason for 2 stars is this fails to keep connection with google home 99% of the time, had no issue with other devices and this one will work every now and again but in general I've given up with google home voice commands for the TV. A bit rubbish really.

Absolute brow ache. I lose the remote a lot (usually sitting on it or under the couch) so the app was a good send. BUT More often than not it won't connect because the TV has obviously disappeared into one of the 3 hells. So close app then reopen and !TA-DA! the TV has returned. works fine until you don't use it for a nano second the !POOF! TV has sinned and sent back to hell.

Honestly, this app is useless. If I open Cast, I can’t exit it through the app. “Manage Apps” only lets you move apps around and doesn’t allow removal of unwanted apps. The “long press OK” feature also doesn’t work because it just opens the app instead. Reconnecting takes forever, and I still can’t switch the TV on from the app, I have to do it manually first. My husband’s built-in smart TV app works far better. Overall, don’t waste your time downloading this app.
