convoluted process for setting it up. this is not streamlined whatsoever. has Bluetooth but still requires a wifi connection. No, it doesn't. You want to hook into my connection, and I'm not going to permit that. Harvesting my data is not ok. staying away from this hardware and software from now on.

Defective Device Purchased a 4-outlet SmartPlug and had difficulty pairing right out of the box. After many tries, it finally connected. Fast forward 6 months... had to change networks. Could not get it to pair/connect again. Didn't have time to deal with it, so left it. When I did get time, I reached out to Philips/Jasco support (which was right around the 1 year mark). Agent tried troubleshooting but also could not get it connected, said it was defective. They wouldn't replace the unit.

How can I get my money back? All it does is click now. "Smart" Surge Protector can't learn. I've tried EZ-Mode, I've tried Bluetooth Mode and I've tried AP Mode, none of which work. I know how to successfully enter the device in auto fast blink and manual slow blink modes. This app recognizes the device in better auto mode while manual mode is a joke. When the device is found, the app will never advance beyond that. Device Will NOT register to Smart Cloud. Never mind initialization device.
