I've had this smart plug for over a year. The app used to work, but for the past few weeks, it will fail to connect more often than not. I have it linked to Google, but even when I go directly to the app and tap the on/off button, nothing happens. It works only when it wants to. It's extremely frustrating. My lights connected through Tuya and Lotus work just fine. I'll stay away from Enbrighten products from now on.

too many ads edit: by ads I mean promotions like "25% off if you buy our product" I remember seeing a pop-up that blocks the main page, and I had to dismiss the pop-up each time to access the switches there are no external ads at least edit2: I'm not talking about app notifications, I'm talking about messages inside the app. for example today when I opened the app, on the main dashboard it says "20% off use code 10 years". I don't want to see ads when I've already purchased your product

I love the product. The time you invest putting it up & doing it right really pays off. The only negative would be the app itself. While you can configure your lights exactly how you want them, which is great, I was hoping the app would get updates that would vastly expand the pre programmed selections like holidays like certain other companies have. Or maybe the ability to create your own light patterns on a PC then upload them into the app. Using a phone can be tedious. Overall though, love it
