Well, it worked ok when I first connected my device to the app- location seemed to be "not bad", and the audio feature would activate. However, the device has not updated or connected since that initial pairing, which kind of entirely defeats the purpose. I haven't tried manually pairing it again, as I don't really feel like wasting my time with a device I got for free at a convention. And here I thought I could skimp out on not getting an actual AirTag (or the newer Android-compatible tags).

It was free so I can't complain. But it's an active Bluetooth device so you have to have the app actively running and if you accidentally close the app it will not work. So I only use it when I actively want to make sure something does not go more than 80 ft away from me at any one point while I'm out and about. And when I'm back home I close the app and disconnect it. Also if you use the Take a Selfie function it works but the pictures don't actually save anywhere.

It's not hard to see why the little spot device was given to me at an event for free, the location is awful, the device only rings my phone when the app is open (im not kidding) and the beeping to find the spot device is a louder whisper at best, if you get it for free put it on your keys, don't put it on things that will go farther away from you, and PLEASE don't put it on a cat or dog, it may suck to pay more money but there is a reason it costs more for better performance.
