R8TR App is a marketplace where out of town "buyers" can hire local, experienced, and knowledgeable R8TRs to quickly evaluate a potential purchase, providing a detailed condition report. R8TR provides peace of mind when buying Cars, Trucks, Boats, Motorcycles, or RVs.

If you are currently looking to purchase a Car, Truck, Boat, Motorcycle, RV, Camper, or Travel Trailer - simply download the app, register to be a buyer and click submit job. Then, you add the description, location, and contact information of the seller. Once submitted, a R8TR in that local area will accept the job, contact the seller, schedule an appointment, and send you a full vehicle condition report including pictures, videos, and descriptions.

R8TR’s are the eyes, ears and nose of the out-of-town buyer.

R8TR’s should be passionate and knowledgeable about whatever vehicle category they are r8ting.

R8TRs are professional and polite when contacting the seller and scheduling a meeting, as well as during the meeting with the seller. Upon arriving at the requested vehicle, the R8TR will engage the app and begin the process of evaluating the vehicle.

Vehicles will always be evaluated in the same manner following in app instructions, with minor variations, based on the vehicle category.

The R8TR is looking for scratches, dents, imperfections, rust, obvious replaced parts, aftermarket parts, cracks and other imperfections.

R8TRs will be “nitpicky” and point out every single flaw, as if they were the most meticulous buyer in the world.

The goal of the R8TR is to be more detail oriented and thorough than the buyer themselves. No flaw or imperfection will go un-noted.

Although the R8TR’s job is to locate and identify every imperfection in the vehicle, they will never be anything but courteous and respectful of the seller. Rather than exploiting a vehicles imperfection, R8TR’s quietly and professionally document the information using the app, and let the buyer draw their own conclusions. At no time will the seller ever feel like R8TR’s are against them. Conversely, R8TR’s should represent themselves in such a way as to make the seller want to work with a R8TR again in the future.

Ratings and reviews

Much like other gig type apps you better be quick to accept or the opportunity will disappear. The app itself is fine but quirky making it easier to take pics & then upload from gallery rather than from within the app & granting camera permission. When filling out the notes in each section, the cursor will not allow a space between words or punctuation causing extra aggravation & lost time trying to correct it between literally every word 👎

I signed up as an inspector and have had a great experience - easy to follow inspection forms, great communication and seamless payments! Times are flexible and you choose your area! I highly recommend this for anyone looking for extra money.
