Ratings and reviews

I'm learning Romanian, Bulgarian, and Turkish. Not many apps have all three, it's great to hear audio recorded by native speakers. I had a little trouble with audio recognition on speech exercises. I kept getting a few wrong. I checked with a Romanian friend who said my pronunciation was perfect. I tried again and got a recognition error. don't know if it's my microphone or the software. A dark mode would be nice. I study late in the evening or early in the morning so it's a lot of white light.

this is so far an excellent alternative to the naggy owl! it's easier to follow and you can choose the sort of conversation you want to learn, or learn in general. it's a bit laggy when you input your answer, but it's a minor annoyance. I will be using this for my language learning journey from now on. highly recommended. -1 star for the lag.

So far I've been having a pretty good time with this app, it's doing what Dup is doing but in a way that actually is nicer to work with. It also has languages that I've been wanting to learn which are not very common like Irish and Vietnamese! My only problem at the moment is the speech exercises for the Vietnamese course where it does not acknowledge what I say, and on many occasions the entire screen will actually stop responding and I have to force close the app and then reopen it.
