Ratings and reviews

Very straight forward and gives you practice in different forms of communication. Reading, speaking, object recognition. If you take more than a few days off it definitely becomes more difficult, but it comes back! The biggest gap, like with most apps, is just speaking practice with another individual that can correct and help. If there were a community page of some sort to meet others that wish to learn that would be a HUGE addition!

It's the best for learning Japanese I've found. I love how you can slow down the audio as much as you want. I do wish you didn't have to repeat the sentence from the beginning every time though. Sometimes I've nailed down the first half but in order to learn the second half I have to keep repeating the first half. It should resume from the word you tap. I also wish the lessons were a bit more bite-sized like in Duolingo. And sometimes they are lazy with the questions when they use images.

I paid for the lifetime membership. I'm pro payment because I can't imagine asking for language learning this thorough without giving something in return..It would feel kind of slimy. The teaching style works so much better for me personally. I'm a visual learner, so this really matches my needs. It seems like the team is really proactive with their updates, because a few years ago it was good but lately it's become even better. I'm learning writing, grammar&pronunciation simultaneously.
