Smooth Text to Speech is a simple to use text-to-speech app, includes 15 Accents. You can easily change the pitch, and speed of the voice.

-Type the text and press "SPEAK TEXT" and the voice will immediately speak the written text.
-You can easily adjust the pitch and speed with one click.
-Press any of the Accent buttons and the the voice will immediately speak the written text in that accent.
-Check the Applause box to hear applause at the end of the speech
-You can type text or edit-copy text from anywhere (email, webpages, text), and paste the text into this app and it will be able to read it out-loud in whichever accent you choose at whichever voice pitch and voice speed you choose.

Ratings and reviews

English works fine and you get one other accent. Until you choose english, then the entire app gives every "accent" an American English accent. Not even a specific one. Just generic "American" like... if it had variations even if only American then it'd be nice. Tbh it isn't even the best "generic American" tts I've tested in the last half hour. Immediately going to delete after this review.

I used to have my phone say everything in a french accent including who is calling texting and I miss it. It was like this just fully integrated in my os on old phone. It took a bit to get it set right but this does the job with cut and paste. Reading a note or book sounds better in feme french or maybe that's just my favourite.

Only English accent works. No others work and there are no directions on how to download any additional TTS voices and the voices in this app don't match what's available in Google TTS voices.
