functional app but slow to connect to lock and gives too many notifications including marketing emails ( which you can turn off although shouldt be sending to begin with) and loads of notifications about the door locking, unlocking... which I can't seem to turn off. it's a shame because I do want to get notified of important things like the battery being low but I'm forced to turn off all notifications for the app

I bought the lock for the size. The apartment I live in has the deadbolt lock than internal deadbolt right above, so I needed something small. The amount of times I've had to reset this device, change the batteries, reconnect the Wi-Fi, disconnect the device and start all over, is just unacceptable. To get anything to reconnect takes hours of your day as well. I wouldn't recommend this product or the app. When it does work, having the auto lock timed is a nice feature.

I really like these locks when they work. The software is really bad. Constantly bounces between Bluetooth and wifi with strong wifi. Stops functioning a lot and I have to spend 30 mins troubleshooting, sometimes days and then it magically starts working again. Now this new app going from Utec to U Home and now all four of my locks are stuck saying "disconnected". One lock times out everytime I try and adjust settings, even after power cycle. Probably spent 20 plus hours fixing in 2 years time.
