Know if one of your cameras has deterred a lurker, your garage door was left open, a package has been delivered, and so much more.

Answer your doorbell
See and speak with visitors through your doorbell from anywhere with 2-way talk and clear 180x180 HD video.

Control lights
Create custom schedules for your lights and easily turn them on and off from anywhere.

Lock and unlock doors
Know your home is secure by checking the status of your smart locks and easily lock or unlock your doors with a swipe.

Open and Close your garage door
Check to see if the garage door is open through the status indicator on the app and be alerted right away if you happen to leave it open.

Ratings and reviews

Thanks for changing my settings (again). It's bad enough to just get this system to do what it is supposed to do without having to go back and fix the settings that have been changed. What a waste of money and time Vivint has been! Reviewing cameras continues to show a time stamped video, but video (or audio) doesn't correspond with the time, if video even works and/or if there was a person at the door or in the drive, it will show an inaccurate feed, looking like there wasn't anybody there.

System and app were made for each other... They're both completely useless other than being used as a visual detterance because, as a security system, they just don't work. My system is down more often than not, which is quite the opposite of the purpose of having a security system. There have been several moments where I have had people on my property (literally in my fenced backyard), and the system neither alerted nor was there any recorded video activity to provide to the police.

Decent app but paired with poor hardware and planning. Thermostat requires babysitting because it won't turn on even when 3 degrees too hot. It lies about when a AC is on. Alarm control is good, notification for motion and video access is fine. My issues aren't with the app (same issues on the alarm panel) but rather the whole system. Primarily the garbage thermostat.
