used to be a good service. the sorting means nothing anymore because half of the results are sponsored and flood the screen. I have also noticed that a specific item will have a different price every couple of days. A while ago, I wanted a pc monitor. It was R2700, then a week later the price was suddenly R5000 marked down on special for R2700. the week after that it was suddenly R3700. Takealot has no way to let me report such dirty business practices.

The app is well optimised for online shopping, with really effient delivery of purchases. Improvements suggestions: Main menu could stay visible when I dive deep with my shopping, when I open more and more products, pressing the back button can be annoying when I want to get back to main menu.

The app works well and everything is good until it isn't anymore. Takealot not honoring warranties is a problem and a 6 month warranty limited to two weeks is deceptive and just plain wrong. That alone is enough to question if buying something from there is worth the possible lack of warranty.
