About this app

Virtual ANS is a software simulator of the unique Russian synthesizer ANS - photoelectronic musical instrument created by Evgeny Murzin from 1938 to 1958. The ANS made it possible to draw music in the form of a spectrogram (sonogram), without live instruments and performers. It was used by Stanislav Kreichi, Alfred Schnittke, Edward Artemiev and other Soviet composers in their experimental works. You can also hear the sound of the ANS in Andrei Tarkovsky's movies Solaris, The Mirror, Stalker.

The simulator extends the capabilities of the original instrument. Now it's a full-featured graphics editor where you can convert sound into an image, load and play pictures, draw microtonal/spectral music and create some unusual deep atmospheric sounds. This app is for everyone who loves experiments and is looking for something new.

I will always love this, but... when will it update ⸮ also a linear scale mode would be the best thing. besides that the app has no problem or instability. also, I found a minimal softlock that can happen when you record the ANS to audio file and then input the file name and save, a non thing appears and withe you leave the app to the recent apps screen and go back to VNS, the message will still be there until you close the app and reopen.

Wonderful so far! I haven't had it long, but I've just put it on a drum track of all things & blimey! 😂5 stars. Try drawing that ! ✔🔥

Cooler than that I'm not a fan of the desk in a few things that need a new phone doesn't have a fever or anything but I can think about it before the gems for the first-to the same time as the last one simple and not in the same boat as the last time I saw it is still in the mirror that requires me to come over the dish array free fee for this is that the one in your prayers as the last time we spoke you mentioned it to me within your limits of understanding
