Ratings and reviews

TLDR: poor quality IT and sluggish customer support, avoid if you need reliability. When it's working, it's a no-frills broker account with basic features which are probably enough for many people. The problem is, their software is buggy and customer support is very slow and unresponsive. I've had many issues, however the last one blocked access to my own money for 3 months! Developers still aren't able to fix it as of now. Search Wikipedia for Degiro if you think I'm the only one having issues.

Clean looking app with a wide range of assets and intuitive controls; however full of hidden fees (for myself €43 over two months on investments of only €150). There is an English option, which leaves large portions of text in German--that the app does not allow copying-pasting makes this problem worse. Overall, recommended only for German readers and those willing to read the small print.

The app (and website) are unfortunately only offered in the language of the country you sign up in (i.e. I am an English speaker in Germany, but have no way to set the app or website to English from German). This means that I haven't been able to successfully use the app. I hope that a future version of the app and website will allow this. Update: App is still only in German when registering in Germany. I'm sure its the same for other regions where you cannot change this basic setting.
