This transfer app has become my reliable go-to, so I'm updating this review even though I had already given it 5 stars. It's beautiful, clean, light, simple, and open source. You can send files, a folder, a text message, or the contents of the clipboard, even paste an image from Windows to Android. No ads or intrusions. Faster than Bluetooth though slower than secure FTP. But tops in convenience, privacy, value, and pleasantness. It's free but we need more like this one, so I've donated twice.

Makes moving files between devices a thousand times easier than "nearby share" or Bluetooth. I've only had two issues, sending the same files twice doesn't prompt you with skipping or overwriting, just makes duplicates. The second issue is if there is an issue with one file during sending, you can't attempt to send it again and have to start a new process with that one file (and there isn't an easy way to figure out which if the folder length is too long)

We've been using this on 2 phones and a tablet running Android and 2 laptops running Linux and Windows 10. This, frankly, is the best thing ever! The interface is uniform between devices and the app brilliantly takes care of one simple task for us: transferring files (pictures, say, or videos, or anything else) between devices. It's unobtrusive and stays out of the way when not needed, and when it is needed it works efficiently and effectively! Thanks so much!!!
