About this app

UBA Secure Pass is UBA's customized version of the mobile token, for use in authorizing transactions and identity management on all of UBA's digital channels like the UBA Internet Banking solution, Mobile Banking solution, EmailMoni and others which require authorization of transactions.

It was also developed in line with the do it yourself model, which allows users to do self activation of the app without having to walk into a UBA Branch.

While this was a straight forward app to use on apple devices , it was not so straight forward to use on Android. One has to first log in with Internet banking ID and OTP , and then click install inside the app again , to finally install the usable part of it. I had to find this out through trial and error, before I finally got it. ..and once that is done correctly, it works efficiently

This app has become increasingly frustrating due to its outdated version. It frequently crashes with error messages, making it almost unusable. Simple transactions that should be straightforward are often met with glitches and delays. It's disappointing that an app from such a reputable bank isn't up to modern standards. I hope UBA will update and improve this app soon because as it stands, it’s more of a hindrance than a help.

For me, I only have one question and a comment. Is the token app for only cooperate account holders or for everyone? In my case, it keeps telling me that there is no email ID/phone number on my account profile which I don't believe it's true because I receive emails and text messages from UBA. Secondly, it will be nice if the app can be improved on a bit. The UI is terrible to be honest. Thanks
