Ratings and reviews

Problem with not reconnecting reliably from standby seems to be fixed. Might take 5 sec after long time. [below 11/2023] On this Samsung S10e (A12) the app reconnects over wifi with the phone locked, but on older S7 (A8) and J3 (A7) no matter what I try, including with email help, once stopped, the video will not reconnect with the phone locked. Other DC reconnects on all, even if not used for hours so I'm using it instead for now. Remote cameras used sporadically so they need to stay available.

REVIEW TIME As a small time streamer I started looking into options to improve my camera visuals, to move away from a webcam. This has been 100% worth it. I'm giving this a 4/5 for the upgrade to premium (paid version). The camera quality, and the ability to choose wifi or wired connections are beyond reproach for less than $20 investment. Aside from not being able to scroll on my phone while streaming, I haven't seen a negative yet. I would really like to see some more control via the PC

Works great except I bought the pro version and can't seem to make the remote control work. Firefox tells me the web site is busy and it can't connect (it's running on the same computer). Tried connecting from another phone. Nope. Other than that this app works great. Better than any of my webcams and better than Irium webcam. It is easy to add into OBS. One glitch is that if you deselect Droidcam OBS then you must exit OBS to regain the video.
