Ratings and reviews

This app has never been perfect, but I'd rate it a 4 out of 5. The latest update 7.0.0.9 (4/28/26) has added a deceiving ad each and every time you open the app. Total disappointment! Especially when I PURCHASE the cameras and PAY FOR SUBSCRIPTIONS. I will seek a new camera system from a company that respects the fact that the equipment and subscriptions for cloud service (for each camera) is not a free service. There is no reason for these invasive ads!

I've been using zmodo cameras for probably 10 years or longer, but will be switching to another brand. I could deal with the small glitches and quirks but the new ads that have taken over the app is the final straw. I shouldn't have to constantly click out of ads like I'm on some sketchy click bait news site just to check my cameras. Oh well, good while it lasted ✌️

This could be a good quality experience. You click the app and boom, you have instant access to your live camera's. You also get a very brief recording when someone triggers the camera. If Zmodo were to double the preview time, it would be at least 4 stars. You can not use sd cards, so all you get is a few seconds of a preview. Anything beyond that you have to pay for a subscription. I suggest LaView camera's. you have good quality, low price, and, you can use an sd card.
