The only reason I keep it is because it does give you a very fast alert when there's a quake anywhere near you. On the down side, it alerts you when the quake is too far away for you to feel. It not only gives initially incorrect size and location, but never corrects it. Finally, the alarm will go off repeatedly just for looking at a prior event.

last update improved the app graphics but removed or hid several settings -no longer able to select seismic networks. -reduced the notification radius (not able to receive notifications from countries far from your location (more than 2000km), unless you enable to notify all gloabl earthquakes above 2.0. There should be an option to select countries you want to be notified of. -when you receive a notification, the seismic wave is no longer shown. -chat moderators are childish

Not easy to use for those of us "old folks" that aren't tech savvy. I just wanted to get instant alerts of quakes for my area only. I don't wish to have my phone tracked all the time, so I wanted to leave "location" turned off but still get notifications for my zipcode. Seems pretty simple to me. But I can't even ask a question on this app. Need to simplify further for those of us that don't play with computers all day.
