About this app

HTTPocket turns your Android phone or tablet into a local Wi-Fi file server — share and access your files from any web browser on the same network in seconds.

No internet required. No cloud storage. No account. No cables.

── HOW IT WORKS ──

1. Open HTTPocket and tap Start Server
2. Your phone shows a local IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.42:8080)
3. Type that address into any browser on the same Wi-Fi
4. Browse, download and upload files instantly

Works from any browser on PC, Mac, Linux, iPad, tablet or smart TV.

── FEATURES ──

📡 INSTANT LOCAL FILE SERVER
Start a local HTTP server on your device with one tap. Accessible from any browser on the same Wi-Fi network — no app installation needed on the other device.

🌐 BROWSER-BASED FILE ACCESS
Access your files from Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge on any PC, Mac or tablet. Clean web interface with grid and list view.

⚡ REAL-TIME TRANSFER PROGRESS
See live upload and download speed, progress percentage and estimated time remaining for every active transfer.

🗂️ FILE MANAGEMENT FROM BROWSER

📺 ANDROID TV SUPPORT
Native Android TV interface with full D-pad navigation. Connect to any HTTPocket server on your network and stream media on your TV using just the remote.

🎬 BUILT-IN MEDIA PLAYER
Play video and audio files directly in the app. Supports multiple audio tracks, subtitles and resume playback from where you left off.

🔄 LIVE FILE LIST SYNC
The browser file list updates automatically when files change — no need to manually refresh the page.

📱 QR CODE CONNECTION
Share your server QR code so others on the same Wi-Fi can connect instantly without typing the IP address.

🔔 RUNS IN BACKGROUND
HTTPocket keeps the server running in the background even when you switch apps or lock the screen. A notification shows transfer activity while active.
