If I could give this app zero stars, I would. I have been using this app for approximately six years. While it functioned well initially, the past two years have been plagued with persistent glitches and performance issues. I am unsure whether this is specific to Android users, but I was forced to uninstall and reinstall the app, which resulted in the loss of all my data. Now, I am unable to create a new profile at all. Overall, the app has become extremely unreliable and frustrating to use.

The app was mediocre, but now it is extremely bad. I understand monetizing with ads and offering a premium option, but the ads are obnoxiously long with misleading buttons. Sometimes the app just randomly opens a browser tab while you're typing. The app has long been used by money launderers, so don't expect much out of the live feeds except for spam bots who pick up on you if you do access a live feed. Also, msssage notifications will pop up, but then your message won't load right away.

Really good app, way over populated with robots. At least half, if not more of its total users are bots. This gets annoying and frustrating. Kik should consider a full redo, delete everything and restart. That or have some kind of monthly user capta check to make sure users are real. Besides that, another issue I have is the app itself grows it's storage at a huge rate. Within 2 to 3 weeks of usage, the app will consume up to 3/4 GB of space. The only option is to clear the cache repeatedly.
