Clojure IDE is a native Android editor and runtime for Clojure projects. It is intended for writing, reading, and testing Clojure code directly on a phone or tablet.

Choose a folder on your device and use it as a project workspace. The app displays its folders and files in a tree. You can create, open, rename, delete, and save files without leaving the IDE. Multiple files can stay open in tabs, and the last workspace and editing session are restored when you return.

The editor includes:

• Clojure syntax highlighting
• Smart indentation
• Matching and unmatched bracket highlighting
• Line and column information
• Modified-file indicators
• Error-line highlighting after evaluation

You can evaluate the entire active file, a selection, or the top-level form around the cursor. Results and errors appear in an output panel beside the editor. Project source files are made available to the local Clojure runtime, so code can use namespaces from the selected workspace.

The app also provides a shortcut to the ClojureDocs quick reference. When the cursor is on a symbol, you can open a search for that symbol in your browser.

Code editing and evaluation run on the Android device. An internet connection is only needed when opening external documentation.

This is an independent project made because I wanted a practical way to work with Clojure on a phone. Codex helped me write, test, and improve the application.
