IMPORTANT: Wrist Notes is a specialized companion tool, not a general notes app.

This app has no useful function unless:

• you already use Gadgetbridge on your Android phone; and
• a supported VelaOS wearable is paired and connected in Gadgetbridge.

If both conditions are not met, please do not install Wrist Notes. It cannot pair with a wearable, replace Gadgetbridge, or send a note through Mi Fitness.

Xiaomi Smart Band 10 has been tested on a real device. Compatibility with the other models is based on the current VelaOS and Gadgetbridge documentation and may depend on the installed firmware and Gadgetbridge version. Gadgetbridge describes support for these Xiaomi devices as experimental. If Gadgetbridge does not recognize your exact model and offer third-party app installation, stop and do not continue.

WHAT WRIST NOTE DOES

Wrist Notes lets you keep a simple list of notes on your phone, send them to your watch or band, and open them whenever you need them.

There is one important detail: notes are not sent as normally synced data. Wrist Notes turns the saved collection into a small, complete watch app. All of the notes become part of that app, and Gadgetbridge installs it on your wearable.

1. Add or edit notes using simple Markdown formatting, then save them.
2. Tap the sync icon to send the collection to your watch.
3. Confirm the installation in Gadgetbridge.
4. Open Wrist Notes from the app list on your wearable. Swipe left or right to switch notes.

The wearable note supports headings, bold and italic text, strikethrough, lists, quotes, links, code, and separators. Its layout adapts to rectangular, round, and capsule-shaped VelaOS screens.

To change the collection, edit, add, or delete notes on your phone and send it again. Because the notes are installed together as an app, only one Wrist Notes app can be present on the wearable at a time. Sending a new version replaces the previous one. This is not live synchronization, but the installed notes remain available on the wearable without your phone.

PRIVACY

Wrist Notes works locally and does not request Internet access. It does not require an account and does not upload your notes to the developer or a cloud service. The watch app containing your notes is shared only with Gadgetbridge so that it can be transferred to your connected wearable.
