Gather is a calm, private RSS reader built around your sources. Follow the publications you trust, read clean full articles when available, and keep useful stories ready for places with a weak connection.
A feed that fits you
• Use Browse for a relaxed chronological stream.
• Use Keep up for the few sources you never want to miss.
• Group coverage of the same story instead of showing repeat headlines.
• Create focused views from sources and plain-language phrases.
Comfortable reading
• Switch between reader mode and the publisher’s live page.
• Adjust type, appearance, pane position, and wide-screen focus mode.
• Translate supported articles on your device with Google Translate after a language pack downloads.
• Prepare articles for offline reading and build a purposeful reading queue.
• Search titles, summaries, sources, and extracted article text stored on your device.
Private by design
• Optional summaries and headline tools run on your device after you download a model.
• Reading text, titles, URLs, sources, searches, and topics are excluded from analytics.
• Export your subscriptions with OPML or make a fuller Gather backup whenever you want.
• Optional sync uses iCloud on iOS or Google Drive app data on Android. These services do not currently sync with each other.
Reliable when a page is messy
Gather uses feed content first, can prepare an extracted reading view, and always gives you a retry or live-web fallback when extraction is unavailable. Publisher sites, paywalls, and JavaScript-heavy pages can still limit what a reader can extract.
Core reading, search, OPML, export, offline tools, and on-device features do not require a subscription. A transparent one-time purchase removes Gather’s in-feed sponsored cards.
Optional article translation is powered by Google Translate. The original article stays one tap away. Learn more at https://translate.google.com.
