To set it up you have to select your remote type by looking through a list of PICTURES of the remote. I don't have the remote I need, so I don't know what it looks like. This makes selecting the right picture impossible. Why can't I just select a model number? I can get that from the back of the TV.

Works awesome since we tend to loose or remotes often in this house and I can use it for both my rca smart tvs! Ads come up every now and the with is annoying and only the important buttons work like power, volume, channel up down, OK, and arrows. SETTINGS won't work or any other ones

Not sure about this. Unlike the other universal toshiba remote app...this one detected my tv but it says no ir blaster not compatible with my phone and then tries to sell me remotes marked down from $300 to $9. My tv only cost $220. I can use the playstation as a hub...I just can't control the volume! Please god and santa...which ever is real..bring back physical buttons on electronics!!! Why not have them!?!?! To sell remotes?!?!
