The Qantas Entertainment app allows you to connect to the onboard wireless network (this is not the Internet), on selected Qantas domestic flights without individual seatback screens, so you can watch or listen to:

* Movies
* TV Shows & Boxsets
* Audiobooks & Podcasts
* Games

Using the app

Once onboard, connect your device to the onboard wireless network in 3 simple steps:
1. Turn on Flight Mode.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and connect to the Q-Streaming or Qantas Free Wi-Fi network.
3. Launch the Qantas Entertainment App.

The Qantas Entertainment app is best enjoyed on a tablet device. Please remember to charge your personal device and to bring your headphones.

Thought I'd give it a go. Not the best. Logged on OK to the WiFi, opened the app & selected a movie. Sat through 2 minutes of ads & then nothing. Thought it was my phone so reconnected & tried again, had to sit through the same ads & at the end no movie. Wondered if it was because that movie was popular so tried a TV program. Only had to sit through 1 minute of ads this time but afterwards still no entertainment. It just doesn't work. Maybe it's just this flight but I'm not entertained.

Managed to get 1/3 through a movie before it stopped working. There's no way to minimise the movie and makes you sit through two minutes of the ads everytime you try to go back into a movie you already started. Pointless app, may as well pre-download the movies.

This app doesn't work most of the time. Movies do not load after the advertisements. Tried with many different movie selections and none of them was playing past the advertisements. It is better not to publish such an app if the core functionality does not work.
