ELFE II is an innovative tool designed to assess the reading comprehension of students in grades two through eight of elementary school. It was designed in Germany, but a team from CEDETI UC adapted and standardized it for the Chilean population. This application allows for a quick and effective assessment, which, in just a few minutes and collectively, comprehensively measures students' reading comprehension skills. ELFE II covers different reading levels, assessing not only word and sentence comprehension but also entire texts. Furthermore, this assessment provides an accurate measure of reading proficiency, contributing to a more in-depth diagnosis of students' developing reading skills. The application's simplicity and speed make it an ideal tool for use in educational settings, allowing teachers to obtain valuable and detailed information about their students' performance in a short amount of time.
