technically, service works, in that it does display some output from my cameras, and setup was relatively easy. unfortunately, the lag renders live footage and the doorbell completely useless. the motion sensor will pick up a car drive by on the street and then totally miss a car pulling up directly in front of it or person walking through the yard, regardless of activity zones. (this also creates a blizzard of false alerts) and now they have ads, even though I'm paying for the dang service!

This system sucks. It does not record. When it does, I receive notifications bit the video recordings lag between 20 minutes and hours and sometimes they do not appear at all! !!! Bad focus and video. I also keep getting locked out. I don't receive notifications and, when I check, I notice that I am logged out. USELESS ALL THE WAY AROUND.!!!

So the app was working well, until Arlo decided to force my old cameras into a subscription service. Here's to hoping the company will fix the error. As to the capabilities, it worked really well up to this point. You will need constant power if you want to access advanced features, such as object detection zones. It would be nice if you could mask out nearby areas that will saturate your image, such as the edge of an adjacent wall or eave. You will have to locally record without a subscription
