Ratings and reviews

This app used to be fairly decent as a third party outlet for reddit content. Now, it is, for all intents and purposes, broken. From outright denying you entry despite being signed in to it not wanting to load content when it does actually allow you in, Atom for Reddit is practically useless. And as there seems to be plans to fix any of these issues, I can say that I wouldn't bother downloading it.

The recent update seems to have stopped the "Private" messages. Thank you. Post-update I've been logged out and I am unable to log in again. Using the same credentials I can log in on different platforms and with different browsers, just not with Atom. Sadly. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling which didn't change a thing.

I'd avoid this app for now. It has some issues like not loading gifs and descriptions missing from image posts. Those are easy enough to overlook. However, they added banner ads at the bottom of the screen when reading comments and browsing subreddits. These are very obnoxious and in the way. Not worth using until they find a better solution for ads. Editing to add you can purchase an ad free upgrade for 3.50. Worth it if you have the money to spare.
